Thanks for stopping by. When not at “home” near Gulf Shores, Alabama (Bella Terra RV Resort), my wife and I travel around the country in a 45’ motorcoach. This presents a unique opportunity to practice all types of photography. From astro, macro, animal and product photography to portraits, landscapes, travel and events, this site is dedicated to sharing the adventure and helping you do the same.

Photo & Video

My interest in photography began as a young kid, given my dad’s early career as a professional photographer. I recall developing my own black & white photos in a basement dark room that I captured on a 35mm Mamiya camera - much like the one in the image below.

I’m now a Canon R6 guy for photography. Video relies on the R6, along with GoPro, DJI Pocket, and camcorder footage. I’m also a licensed drone pilot, so I pull out the DJI Mavic Pro occasionally. Audio is mixed as well, consisting of Rhode and Shure microphones. My go to source for editing is the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and Audition) on a custom-built PC.

RV Travel

We’ve been through trailers, 5th wheels, and now a Class A. It’s definitely not always sunshine and rainbows, as Mother Nature can creep up at any time unexpectedly. Most recently, we’ve had unexpected snow in Denver, Colorado, and also had the pleasure of experiencing the Texas power loss during the winter of 2021.
